An American Story…
I can proudly and truly say that I have lived the American dream. After my humble upbringing in Bangladesh, I came to this country to flourish my education. My parents valued education above all because they understood the value of higher learning and how it would be the gateway to a more hopeful life. My family worked vigorously and tirelessly to make sure I can have easier and better life than they did.
America gave me the opportunity to receive the best education in the world. I dedicated myself to my studies and received a BA in political science with a minor in Economics from Truman State University. I went on to receive my MA and Ph.D. from University of Kansas.
Work & Public Service…
In 2000, I started my own college that focuses on providing quality education and employment opportunities to students in Georgia. Upon moving to Lawrenceville, I dedicated myself to public service and became deeply involved in my community. My family and yours and our communities are the spirit of my campaign. I am a strong advocate for investing in our kids and responsible government. I believe in servant leadership and integrity. If elected to State Senate, I can promise you transparent government and commitment to my district.
